Didn't Devin say the green represented DTP, the red worn out one was SYL and the blue snapped one was DTB? I think the purple scribbling on it signifies the red and blue fighting over control and the green eventually emerged in its place.

Or you could actually read the other posts in this thread.

My guess is the designer was stumped for inspiration and just quickly snapped a pic of the first objects that came to hand on his desk on a piece of paper.

So by that logic Deconstruction's cover may well feature a stapler, a pencil sharpener and a tape dispenser.

I dig that picture on the laast page of addicted, with all the broken crayons and the one standing. It's kinda hints towards Deconstruction I reckon, just like the song.
