I think so. It is the perfect Devin song. If there was one song I could show people to see exactly what his stuff is all about, "Awake!!" is it.

Best part is after "GET UP! GET UP! GET UP!" then the floor falls out of the heavy devy vocals and it goes to his epic clean vocals for a 3rd verse...

and then "IM FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This track is amazing. I'm an "albums guy", but this song is what makes this album to me.

I really go back and forth with whether I like Awake or The Way Home the best.


The intro to this song just makes me grin so freakin much.

yeah its a great song. I reckon the guitar melody at the "Deconstruct" bit could possibly be referenced in the next album

My favourite on the album... no doubt.

Dev sings like Cher in some lines.

Pure awesomness and it's surely the gate between Addicted and Deconstruction... it makes new album even more mysterious.

The "EHHHHHH!!" at the beginning of Awake!! reminds me of this face:
