Also, There was no need for 4 fucking warm-up bands, They were good but i was deaf in my right ear when Dev came up cause i was litertaly leaning up against the Giant Speakers. But 7+ hours in the car and 2.5 hours waiting the get in was so worth it. I'll see you next year Dev!

Funny you ask

Friday morning I woke up with a minor sore throat but still went to work. That night it got worse and yesterday was really bad all day. Fever, ear ache, sore throat, body aches etc. This morning I woke up again and my throat felt like I was raped for 12 hours by a black man. I feel much better now that I've been drinking hot green tea w/ honey & having some lozenges. I have a feeling I'm going to have to go to the doctor tomorrow and miss a few days of work next week. fuckkkkkkkkk

I knew I got that from Jaxx... It hit me out of nowhere Thursday night and by Friday I had 103 degree fever and felt beyond tired. Same with a buddy I went with. I've been on my ass all weekend just trying to recover. Thanks mr. fat sweaty bubonic dude =P

I am starting the uploads of the VIP pre-show. The songs will be "Coast", "Terminal", "Ih-ah", "Sister"(cut short for some reason), and "Ki". There will also be a video of some of the questions people asked him and some of his witty jokes. Im starting today (Oct 31) and hope to be done at least by Wed. I have XC pratice after school everyday and i barely have time to breath durring the week, but i will get it done. Enjoy!

I have one more, but it was only another minute of Supercrush! later in the song, so I haven't gotten around to fooling with it yet. I'm glad the pic and vid responses from people have been great. I was extremely happy that they all turned out as good as they did and it also pleases me that I was able to catch some sweet moments like the kiss and Dev coming at you during the solo

Concerning the illness that apparently went around after the show, I was fortunate not to come down with anything. I honestly don't know how though because where I was at during the show, there was a lot of big, hairy, sweaty bodies around me and I was drenched head to toe in sweat as well. Looks like my strong immune system once again stepped in and pimp-sacked disease and told it to scram haha.

I've got to chime in here and say that this illness hit me too, in this same exact way. Got hit with 102 degree fever on Thursday and felt more tired than ever. It continued into Friday relentlessly and I thought that I had relapsed into mono. I'm still trying to recover today (it's monday). My friend who went to the concert with me also came down with this same exact problem - his doctors actually thought it WAS mono, so they tested him for it but it wasn't it. They gave him some antibiotics.

Honestly this probably wouldn't have happened to us if Jaxx wasn't such a filthy, un airconditioned hovel. Seriously there's no way that place meets health code. That room was so disgustingly hot and humid it was like a petri dish, not to mention there was no soap in the bathroom (which is another nightmare unto itself).

I actually didn't go into work today because I'm still dealing with the bad sore throat. Went to the doc and she is thinking it's a virus and the worst is over. She told me to take ibuprofen (3 pills) for the pain in the throat, and it worked magic. I never knew you could do that.

Hopefully I can return to work soon. Doh

I was at this show and actually interviewed Devin before the show (absolutely the most nervous I have ever been in my entire life) and it was by far one of the best concerts that I've ever been to at Jaxx, between Devin running into the pit during Bad Devil or the last jam during Deep Peace it was overall an amazing night, I actually ended up getting Devin's pick as well, if anyone is interested in the interview I did I'll attempt to upload it, though I admit between lack of time and being insanely nervous, it really could have been better.
