I have to agree. I like the song and I like Physicist, but I was absolutely floored by when you played it live. I think I get what you mean about reconceptualizing the stuff in the context of Addicted (or at least I think that's what you said) now.

I'd be pretty annoying if i were in the audience while Kingdom is played, i'd be totally doing the backing vocals How could i know, what if i know..

Why does Dev scream the chorus on Kingdom?? I think it totally ruins the song! I LOVE how he sings the Kingdom chorus on the album. Was quite disappointed when I heard that.

I can't say I was bothered by the screaming - it's Dev's song and he can sing it however he wants. Kingdom = win, scream or no scream, IMO.

He screams because he cannot sing the whole song. Not trying to be a douche, it's just that the song is next to impossible to sing, so try to understand that he has other songs to sing as well. Speaking of that, Physicist really is rough on the vocals. Lots of hard song vocally. Anyways, I think Dev could only really sing one part without destroying his voice and he chose the beginning. I completely agree with his choice. The song sounds stellar that way. The part with the whole "Baby please, don't worry I'm FINE!!!!!" is one of the most intense moment I've ever had while listening to music. Seriously, gets me EVERY time.

Douche? You're worried about coming off as a douche because you aren't licking Dev's balls every chance you get? Your answer is more what I was wondering, thank you! The chorus has that kind of yell/sing that must be rough on his voice I guess. the "don't worry I'm fine" does sound great. But to me, the song is ruined when he screams that chorus. oh well. still can't believe how good everything else sounds live.

I saw them at florida with Alucard but i had to leave after the DTP set because it was a long drive for me back to orlando.. The whole band were amazing and Dev was hilarious and his singing was unbelievable. Kingdom was perfect in my opinion.
Incredible show and i could easily have just watched DTP for 4 hours and not get bored at all. I will definately go to any lengths so see dev play again in the near future.. Thanks alot Devin
