Man...one of the hardest gigs I've ever played tonight! Thanks SO MUCH to you guys for making it work tonight, you were awesome!

it was a great gig - the usual setlist plus someone wanted him to play 7th Wave and the crowd sang Happy Birthday to a guy in the first row called "Zilty"

Dev seems to be such a philanthropist that you feel bad immediately when you compare your interacting with people to Dev's. He seems to be the nicest person on earth and to be in peace with everyone and everything (but only in a slightly cheesy way :D )

Dev was so amazing, pretty much the best show that I've been to this year.

Devin stated that it was a hard gig since he had a sore throat, but he handled everything well, it wasn't really noticeable from the crowds point of view.

The coolest part was that he took about an hour of time signing, taking pictures and talking with people after the show.

In case the man himself reads this (I mean there is a possibility  ): DUDE! It was so amazing! The best monday gig ever! Also thanks for letting me take a picture with you twice since the first time the flash didn't work.

"someone"... pfueh

what an amazing gig, I'd rank it even ahead of the show in Munich last year which benefited from better Ziltoid material like Hyperdrive and Solar Winds. Great he considered Seventh Wave to be played, I wasn't sure if he was just joking when he said somedays ago that they'll play that song.
good sound, great audience, even more great artists on stage - what an evening. not to forget the setlist: 2 Ocean Machine, 2 Infinity, 2 Terria... what more could one expect? Terria as a whole? common!

pfueh indeed!
I didn't know he played it because of you - great thank you!!

but i didn't really like the sound in the Szene. If you know Dev's songs, you know what it should sound like but i wouldn't recommend anyone who's new to Dev's music going to the concert. I was standing in the 4th row, maybe the sound was better in the back (?)

@die_nini

great picture!!!

I think the sound was better in the middle, yes.

the DT wall of sound is an immense challenge for every PA, every venue and every soundguy I think, considering that the sound was fairly good enough. At least it got better after first 3, 4 songs.. I was quite satisfied. But I totally agree - if sb does not know Dev's songs and is going to a concert he could get a wrong impression. At least musically, because the entertaining is pretty much worth a see/listen

I made 2 little videos, a short one with people dancing on stage at the very end of the concert and about 2 minutes from The Greys in quite good quality. Will upload it soon.

Anyone else that wants to share something videowise?

They actually bring their own mixing desk and own sound guy on this tour. It's Paul, if you remember him from the behind the scenes section of "For Those Aboot To Rock" :D

ooooh yeah

You were the one with that excellent dance onstage, right?

Anyway, it was a really great and funny gig! "Life" was definitely a highlight for me, but I was kind of overwhelmed by everything. It was so great to finally see Devin performing live all the stuff that I've been so obsessively listening to lately.

Here's a weird photo of Dev and me (grinning like an idiot, omg :D) I wanted to hug him, but I was too shy to ask...
