Fantastic! And after missing out in Manchester and Nottingham, this time I was prepared, and rushed up on stage for Bend It Like Bender! Woop! :D

And if that wasn't good enough, on the way off the stage, I asked Devy if I could kiss his beautiful bald sweaty head and he tilted his head forward and MUAH! :D :D

Oh, and while I was on stage at the end, he gave me one of his plectrums off the mic stand, which I can add to the two used ones I got in Manchester and Nottingham! All in all, a FANTASTIC night!

Also grabbed a pack of Addicted crayons and a Ziltoid mug from the merchandise stand, hehe. :D

On top of the world right now!

Here's the setlist as taken from setlist.fm:

1.Addicted!
2.Supercrush!
3.Kingdom
4.Deadhead
5.Truth/OM
6.By Your Command
7.Life
8.Earth Day
9.Bad Devil
Encore:
10.Color Your World
11.The Greys
12.Deep Peace
Encore 2:
13.Bend It Like Bender!

Great show. Found it difficult to hear what devin was saying some of the time though.
More crowded than the first time I saw devin in the back room of pub in camden on the city tour

Awesome show. Never seen him live before so it's hard to tell how it stood up to most performances, but it was brilliant. I brought 5 people - my younger brother, another guy and 3 girls. I never expected one of the girls to enjoy it, but they did, all of them. Of course, I was probably on a whole different level to them. I could barely talk when I got outside... sorry if anybody else in front of me had to hear my awful signing! To be fair, there was a guy behind singing just as badly, but I didn't mind, it was encouraging.

Did anyone else see Herman Li and Sam T from Dragonforce? They watched Aeon Zen (probably there to see Vadim play) and then went upstairs for Devin I think (Vadim's a fan so they probably all are). Personally, I was in awe when I saw them, but I got a picture with a friend. I spoke to him a little ("loved Ultra Beatdown, how's the next one?" "Wicked, have you checked out our new vocalist?" "Yeah he's awesome" etc) and then left him be to avoid annoying him. He struck me as a really relaxed, friendly guy though, and didn't mind my presence too much. So, I didn't meet Dev but I met the 2 most famous members of Dragonforce. Sweet.

Didn't take any pictures of Dev but I'll put that one of Herman up. Can't wait for November.

Ah, the great show at the Falcon where they cut the power during AAA? Brilliant gig!!

Anyways...
Last night was incredible. I saw the Southampton show too and this one had much much better sound, could actually here Devin talking this time! Why is his guitar soooooo quiet in the mix always though??
The setlist was much better, a broader spectrum of work. All the hits you might say! The atmosphere wasnt quite as good as Southampton from a crowd point of view but then again this place was a LOT more packed so less movement available!
Performance wise, was flawless. The band seemed to be really into it, the quips and comedy were top form and I finally got to see him play Earth Day which was monstrously good.

Im a happy man. Devin is a rare breed: a man of incredible talent, writes greats songs and is one of the most charismatic performers in the business. A true star yet humble enough that you'd just want to buy the man a drink and say hello without feeling like an ass.

These shows have definately been a huge step forward for him in terms of profile and building an even bigger fanbase, a real triumph. Continue spreading the word, as trust me, next time he tours the venues will be bigger :-)

Wow...That's all i can say about last night! It was my boyfriend who originally got me into Devin. We saw him last year at Bloodstock, and due to technical difficulties (i.e. all their gear being sent to the wrong airport) we were treated to an impromtu comedy routine whilst the crew borrowed equipment from other bands. That took up almost 20 minutes of his set, but i was still blown away!

I honestly don't think there's any metal/rock musician that can get away with playing the Barbie Girl song before their gig, and even before he came on i was in hysterics! The whole set was flawless, although my favourite was Life. It's one of, if not my favourite Devin song and he didn't disappoint! By Your Command is another of my favourite (cos Ziltoid rocks) so i literally went crazy.

Thanks Devin for an amazing show, and i'll see you at Bloodstock in August!

It's a classic, sir. You may know me as "Seth Rogan".

Hey, Seth! Is Bill Hader on here too?

I had an absolute blast last night! I was determined when I broke my leg in February to still come to the gig and I'm glad I did thanks to my good friend helping me get there. The 02 Academy themselves were very helpful in advance of it, emailing me very quickly about my queries for access and they left voicemail beforehand because the lift in the building wasn't working on the day but they helped me in via an alternative route - top class service! I was also delighted to have some space near the front rather than be somewhere at the back. I really wanted to be in the middle with everyone else but don't think I could've got away with it. So yeah, I spent most of the night saluting Devin with my crutches, pumping them into the air, wailing along to all the songs - I was so happy. I'm suffering for it today but it was well worth it, most fun I've had in ages!! :D

OMG!!!! *touch*

OH and further Youtubings have informed me that I did not hump Dev, we butt-grinded. Which is better as it's a two-way activity.

Dat 1/4 of a head thar be me. I grabbed a pick after you, and proceeded to somehow lose it D: woe is me!

No but really no words can describe how epic that show was for me, as I've said I met the best bunch of guys and gals I could have asked for and 'bumped' into Devin 3 times! So stoked that there are so many videos and pictures out there to remind me that that ACTUALLY happened

(First post).

Show was amazing. Getting to meet Dev was really cool, and me and my brother hugged Mike St. Jean which was funny. Here's a selection of pics that I took, but my camera is not the best so the quality is a bit naff.

That's me on the right in the glasses. Great time, Dev was really cool to talk to.
