Saw the gig, met the band and it was great. My only complaint is the setlist, I've gotten too familiar with it. Pixillate and Stand were awesome live. AND JUULAR! had fun in the moshpit with that one.

The gig was awesome!!! Hearing Juular live made my day. Compared to the gig at Kaapelitehdas, Anneke's voice really got the space it demands, this being an open-air show.
Also got a chance to welcome the band back to Tuska and show Dev my portrait tattoo. Too bad I didn't get a decent photo of this...

I'm still grinning like a moron here!

Seconded. Those bass drops were something else! There were some very decent ones at the cable factory show this March, but now... Outdoors setting, a little bigger PA system... Damn those bass booms were just humongous.

Before the show, Dev and the band had a meet & greet session and the signing tent. Got to say hello, shake hands and have a DTP promo card autographed. Devin also signed four album booklet for me. So many thanks to all of you!
In case you remember, I was the guy with the Ronnie James Dio memorial t-shirt.

I would have bought the special Ziltoid shirt, but unfortunately they seemed to have sold out on Friday already.

And the show. Spectacular!
Tuska was treated so well it could be called spoiling rotten. First, there was the pre-show photo slideshow containing best cuts from the photoshop edit thread. That must have been the world premier?
Those Tuska-specific Ziltoid video cilps were awesome as well. Like the one about Ziltoid's Finnish skills... "My Finnish is awful, but my foreplay is shit hot!"

Here's a bunch of photos from the show. Near the end of the gig it got darker so it became harder to take sharp pics, hence the screen photos. Hope you like 'em.

The forum guy didn't go into specifics so I thought it was just the wrapper that was signed, not the actual burger!

Thanks! I have Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FS3. Just a basic digital camera, but a pretty good one, I think.

AAAH, Always awesome to see the shoops on big screens! (still haven't seen mine on Tuska though... but I trust they were there xD )
