I don't know what he's doing differently, but his voice is still in great shape.

I hope the dvd will include the whole set? Like not just the Addicted part. ANYWAY I WANT THE DVDS RIGHT NOW PLZ

Another good show, but I enjoyed "Ki" more. Devy didn't talk too much this time, compared to yesterday, and I thought the vocals for both him and Anneke were a bit low. Shame about the guy who got his face smashed in during "Bender". Makes me think twice about standing in the thick of it for "Deconstruction" tomorrow. Also, and this isn't a real complaint, but why was everyone in front of me nine feet tall and wearing a huge backpack?!

Quibbles aside, it was still great. Had a hell of a time singing along to "Ih-Ah!", "Life" and "Kingdom" in particular. I guessed we'd get "Pixillate", as they did it at Tuska, but it was still a treat. Anneke is very pretty, and she had some good vocal moments.

Onward to "Deconstruction", then!

Awesome gig. Hard to compare it to Ki... in terms of sound quality, Ki was better, and it was more dynamic, but Addicted was more straight forward fun. Loved Pixillate but it was clear that most of the crowd were like "huh?" becuase it's not exactly the best known track from Synchestra... but the other two were very well recieved. Bring on Decon...

Same. Here. I think I'm just a sadist, torturing myself by reading all the comments. It makes me quite sad. The thing that is hugely torturous to me too is that the only thing that held me back from going was my damn expired passport...

But it's alright, I'll have the DVDs, and life goes on. That's awesome he played Pixellate, with Anneke on that... Sounds sick.

You guys going to these shows are the luckiest bastards alive.

I preferred Ki too but then there was something very special about hearing those songs live for the first time, it's such a unique album.

Great fun tonight though. Anneke's vocals were a little low from where I stood near the front-right but she absolutely nailed the high notes on Supercrush and Numbered. Dancing like mad to Awake was a highlight of the weekend so far.

Who saw the South Park parody images? I couldn't be there for tonight because my sister got married today but apparently my SP canadianist pics were shown that I posted on the forum a couple months ago. Am I famous? Will I be mobbed at the potential forum meet???
