Just came back from the gig and waiting outside the bus for about 2 hours (talked to RVP, Dev was going to come out later but we (me and biert) decided to just let him enjoy his pizza and give up). Concert was fucking awesome. A few sound balance issues near the start (though they were worked out mid-Addicted), and towards the end of the set Anneke could barely be heard, but otherwise it sounded great. Really tight playing from all of them, and Dev really knows how to get a crowd going. If he wouldn't be singing he should've gone into stand-up comedy. :P

Setlist:
Addicted (+Anneke)
Supercrush (+Anneke)
Kingdom
Hyperdrive (+Anneke)
Truth
Short OM
Deadhead
Earth Day
ZTO
By Your Command
Numbered (+Anneke)
Bend It Like Bender (+Anneke)

Encore 1:
Color Your World
The Greys, followed by some mellow improvisation - very nice
Deep Peace

Encore 2:
Life

A few photos might follow, even though most of the ones I took tonight suck. Perhaps biert has some better material, and I dunno how long his camera recorded before it ran out of battery. :D Personal highlights for me were Supercrush, Truth, Deadhead, Earth Day, By Your Command and Deep Peace. Blissful.

Sorry for this piss-poor review, I'm tired/sleepy/dehydrated/smelly and should have been in bed a while ago.

Just got back from the gig after a 2 hour drive home, man that was worth it :D First time i got to see the Dev live, so i was pretty anxious and i can only see, it hasn't disappointed me for one second! It was a great show, nice small stage and just 500 or so people, i love those little intimate gigs :D) This night only strengthened my respect for Dev and his music, his performance and skill :)

Like swervedriver already mentioned, the setlist was great, combining and mixing some earlier work with newer stuff and Ziltoid, and of course the lovely Anneke (her support act was awesome, she really has an amazing voice!) Sound quality was pretty good overall with some mistakes here and there but nothing could stop Dev's awesome performance.

Btw, on the way to my car i saw dudes waiting next to a gate where the tour bus was standing, think i swervedriver and biert ;) For a second there i thought of joining them but i figured Dev would like some rest so i went home (not too mention i still had to drive home and i have an exam in 6 hours).

Looking forward to your photos swerv :)

cool, what a great setlist.
But I'd just be completely jealous if they were to exchange ZTO/BYC with Solar Winds (like they did in Munich, luckily), love that song!

how long was the duration of the show? 2 hours approx? lucky you :D although there's no need to complain at all, but: 2 hours > 1,5 hours(still don't get the point why in the other Euro clubtour-countries he didn't satisfy us even more with erm, longer shows  )

After I finally managed to see the almighty Dev live in Munich I can die in peace... in deep peace of course.

Oh my god this was so amazing! I was there two hours before the gig started and I'm so glad about that! Devin and his crew suddenly walked through the building in search of some food (they ate at the "Wok Paradijs", of all places  ). We went after him to get a picture, and he was totally cool with it! We were planning to stay after the gig to get a picture, but that wasn't necessary anymore. On top of that, we got a signed poster!

It was already my favourite gig ever, before it even started. During the gig I was in the front row, it couldn't get better. Anneke sang fantastic apart from a small mistake, and Devin's setlist was awesome. Earth Day, Deadhead, Bender and Deep Peace blew me away. I didn't think they would play Deep Peace. :)

I took some great pictures too and I got a pick.

Sorry for this slightly chaotic story. Pictures coming soon.

Dev is a freaking snotmonster!!!
Honest!

Great show! enjoyed every single bit of it!
Sound was indeed dodgy here and there, but the rest was pretty damn awesome!

It was great to see Devin live! The turtleneck metal god really gave one of the most amazing shows I have ever seen.

My only 'complaint' was that the music was too loud. Now this might make me sound like an old whiny guy, but regardless of me not standing in the front and wearing hearing protection, my ears were continuously ringing afterwards, and now, 12 hours later, my ears are still messed up. I think if they turned the volume down a bit it would have improved the sound quality a lot and made it somewhat medically responsible. I hope some agree with this ;).

But again, that is the only downside to a great performance, with a great crowd, great setlist and a great band.

What a great show! The Dev is a real entertainer.
And great support bij Anneke. I saw her in the McDonalds before the gig.

The sound was indeed all over the place, but most of the time it was ok I guess.

I bought me a signed drumhead too. I already have enough t-shirts :D

Tonight I will try to upload some 720P movies I made with my camera, and of course some pics. To be continued :)

I made video's from the tracks Addicted, Hyperdrive, By Your Command and Life if I'm correct.
I'll see if I can upload them tonight, and post them here :)
