i was listening to HAARHT today and this totally jumped out at me..the intro beat from Cod Metal King is on deconstruction...but i cant remember where lol, i think it is in the title track but im not sure

I just took a quick listen on Youtube (HAARHT is the only Strapping record I don't have; have to change that) and I didn't recognize the beat. Maybe you're thinking of The Mighty Masturbator, since they both feature drum loops/electronica sections?

I found an obvious reference to 'Critic' from HAARHT in the song 'Pandemic'. At 1:32 Dev sings 'All is calm, all is well' and the riff is quite the same too!
So nice to find such relations between two of my all-time fav albums.
