I want them so bad as well. Will probably be buying the album tomorrow since Spotify listens aren't enough to support that album. I may write them down for songmeanings then if noone else bothers to do it. At least I hope there are lyrics in it, I sometimes had some bad surprises about that.

Buy a magnifying glass while your at it (unless you like to squint). ;)

The print in the booklet is really small.

^I'm hoping I can read the text despite that, I have a penchant for small writing. :)

I'm currently adding all lyrics of Sky Blue to songmeanings.com - Reason being that I love the site much more than normal lyric sites. Will probably add Dark Matters in the following days if noone else does, it takes quite some time though.

Up now: http://songmeanings.com/albums/view/tracks/278080/

The lyrics seem to be not only small, but also partly wrong and generally hasty written. I tried my best to correct all the mistakes.

One question though:
In Warrior, the lyrics state the following beginning:
"Night falls overhead
I'd venture time is here for words of mortals"

I am pretty sure the correct lyrics are:
"Night falls overhead,
Adventure time is here for the lights of mortals"

Any opinions about that?

E: Done. Just waiting for approval now. Should have saved them somewhere else as I can't view them anymore unless they get approved. -_-

I think its a combo of the two.
"I'd venture time is here for the lights of mortals."

Her accent does make it kinda tough to decipher.

I'm not a native English speaker, but does that sentence even make sense like that? "I'd venture time is here" sounds like nonsense to me.

^It does make sense in english. I know the language's rules are fucked most of the time haha.

I'd venture time is here = I would dare to say that the time is here

It's weird. And I'm not sure what the "lights of mortals" is. Maybe it's lives of mortals? The hard thing with lyrics is they are basically poetry, and that can have multiple meanings all crammed into a few words. Hope this helps. :)

I remember back in grade school when we were learning basic vocabulary and grammar. Half of the time the words and pronunciations wouldn't follow any rules at all, or they would break the rules we had learned about previously. English is definitely a Frankenstein language.

This album is overflowing with metaphors about life and death and I think this is another example of that.
Light/dark Life/death

"Night falls overhead; I'd venture time is here for the lights of mortals"
Death comes to us all as mortals, but time is our gift to use while we are alive

"Hey, are you afraid? To say what you're trying to say?
Remain, it's a warrior's way; Remain, it's a warrior's game"
To be a "warrior" is to live your life and use your time in a way that is true to yourself. Fighting to survive and honestly express yourself is what this game of life is all about.

That's my take on it anyways. Although I think 10 different people could have 10 different interpretations on it, kinda like what Keasbynights was saying.

I'd say you're pretty spot on about English, haha.

And yeah, so many interpretations for the same thing. All that matters is what it means to you and what you take from it. Though it's alway interesting to speculate what the artist intended. I'd say it's about life and death too though, since each album is how Devin's life feels at the time of writing it, and some people close to him passed away.

Alright, I've changed that line. Thank you :).

I honestly didn't find an interpretation for that song so far for me personally, although it's my favorite track. I agree with djp, though, that the 'light' in that line is supposed to mean to overcome the darkness by our own strength - hence the "warrior" title.
