for me almost everything about TMV was similar to Dev - my first impressions (pretty much being overwhelmed by the volume and number of things going on), the fact that they're emotional, abrasive and just plain weird, and that now they're one of my favourite bands. I mean they even go into ambience in between songs.

I recommend The Postman Syndrome too if you can find any of their stuff, I think Terraforming is only available on their website (http://www.daywithuotdawn.com) but it is hella worth it.
