Talk about other artists here (even though they all rip off Meshuggah)

New smashing pumpkins ...I'm actually quite enjoying it. The new style pumpkins have this restrained sound and there's something about something common on the vocal melodies that I find annoying, but there are some decent dogs here as long as I don't compare it too much to the old stuff.

One if my favourite bands of all time, and one of my first proper favourite bands. No one else I knew liked them, they were purely mine, and it was love at first listen :) ah nostalgia. As a result, I will always but a new pumpkins album, regardless. The new stuff isn't the same, but this is enjoyable.

Terria

My strategy of having almost all of my non headphone listening for the last 9 months be Devin has paid off "what's that sweetie? You want mummy to play/sing Terria badly while walking you round the room again? Well, if you insist"

One of those songs that I thought would always lend itself to being a great metal/rock song. Turns out it was a bonus disc on Karnivool's Themata album 10 years ago and I'd totally missed/ignored that fact at the time.
