Hyperion ROCKS.
It was nice to see that Sarai had her adventures there too :D
I had my nick long before I read the book though.
Have you read the other parts?
I just bought the Endymion but haven't started it yet.

I've read only "Hyperion". Whole series has been released about ten years ago here and got quickly sold out (and surfaced from time to time on auctions with REALLY sick prices). Now there's pretty hardcover second edition of the whole series in the way (only "Hyperion" is out so far). What I like - it's at last in classy cover, without supercheesy colorful picture with spikes, lazors and stuff making you look like idiot when reading on a train :)

Once again, "Hyperion" is excellent, hub for many stories in many styles, Dan Simmons is genius.

yeah, seems that people know that I won't settle for anything
And if I am pinkish, cutish, and I want to get all the cute stuff
we didn't have when I was a kid, now is the perfect chance!

And yeah, it can be sometimes a blushing event to grab my
HK calender, HK pen and write to that huge pink calendar I carry with me :D
Then I take out my pink HK bag, from where I dig up my MP3-player
(which obviously has a HK- neckstring attached) and start up some
SYL

And I need to agree with Gozu, trying to get into the Endymion is pretty hard.
Because right on at the first pages the narrator tells that if I'm interested
in these points from the old book and need more info on that, I'm not getting it.
That kinda kills the feeling, don't ya think :D

I gotta tell you, I had to cry a tear last night, because my hand was aching so bad!
We played just too many hours of GH (and I pulled out the Dragonforce's song pretty well!) and
later when I went to bed it started to hurt the stringy things in my hands :(

But I'm better now and will get into playing in just few minutes!

I had a pretty good haul this year and only 2 crappy presents that I'll never use, which is darn good going :)
