Psychotic...when I was a wee lad, back when I was in 4th or 5th grade, my family took a trip out west. We had a lot of good times and made so many stops...many of which were pictured in your post! Seeing those takes me back...we saw the Grand Canyon, sequoias (another bunch of gigantic trees), the big crater, the petrified forest, Devil's Tower (we didn't climb it, but it was still awe-inducing), Yellowstone, as well as some others. Thank you for posting those!

Quick note: Whenever we went to the petrified forest, my brother and I probably quoted Beavis & Butthead more times than one could count.

Anyway, this is a picture of the snow at 0655 yesterday outside Southampton General Hospital. The footprints are mine (I was trying to find an alternative entrance to my building because the usual one was closed).



I hate snow.

Oh and hooray! But not for love this time...I'm stagnant! I've finally graduated from not being here to being stagnant. I'm so happy!

I had forgotten all about the sequoias, I remember some of those being even more impressive than the redwoods. A lot of those reminded me of those memories that I have from way back when as well. It's a lot of fun just to look at them. I can't wait to get back to Devil's Tower and climb it this time. It's going to be real tough though.

Haha, I was thinking the samething. Once the sun passes the equator here in the Chicagoland area that starts to become the norm (well, okay, once December start). However, we've had snow about 2 feet deep for the past 2 months. It went away during a heatwave, but a few days later it was right back.
