Still laughing over how worked up some people got (ie Leech) over my joke thread in the "Ask Tracy" Forum.

Thank you, everyone who took that as a joke, you are not callous!

But that kinda implies that there was a final goal to achieve doesn't it? But I don't think there was... He just wanted to escape, and he did. The "unsuccess" I suppose comes from (in the film, haven't read the book):

*Spoilers*

where he says "happiness only real when shared" - realising he really missed his sister/family or whatever, and unfortuneately passing away before he found a way back to them.

He didn't have any plans so there isn't anything he failed really. *shrug*

The run time of albums, does it matter to you?

£10 for 36 mins of music, or 74 mins for the same price - Would you consider something like that before buying an album if you were only gonna get one of them?

I was just listening to Hate - Anaclasis, and its about 36 mins... An amazing album, but... c'mon, thats not even half the CD! Gimme more sonics to enter my craving ears!

Hm... Interesting. I've never really thought of it before. I suppose it depends on how much I enjoy the music? A 74 minute album is awesome, but what if I get bored in the middle, and it gets dropped for something shorter, and then I never hear the end of the album becuase I keep getting bored in the middle. (A situation I've had before.)

Well then you need to listen to better music :P

I see it as a kind of, value for money thing as well. £10 for 36 mins = 0.27777p per minute - £10 for 74 mins = 0.135135p per minute.

I know for sure that any albums I make in future, will be no less than 60 minutes. If it is less, I won't class it as part of my main discography kinda thing, or like a concept album like Catch 33, being like one big song separated. Just seems weird as well, a band might release an album every 3 years who only have 40 minute albums, whereas other bands can add an extra 35 mins to that in the same amount of time. So really, shorter albums should be SPECTACULAR non stop... lol

I dunno, its just something that I always tend to be aware of, and it bugs me when albums are just too short...

I decided going to bed at 9:30am and getting up at times as late as 4:50pm probably could do with sorting out... Doing an "all nighter" right now, except one where I wont be going to bed at wake-up time... But knowing me, by the time it gets to 11pm onwards, i'll wake up again like I always do, and end up staying up til a stupid hour again...

Oh well, we'll see

Fantastic and beautiful lightning storms around here just before nightfall...Couldn't help but think of Hate Eternal's "Bringer of Storms:"
"Ave! I am the bringer of storms
Charge! Legions of the dead
Ave! I am the bringer of scorn
Charge! Order of the abyss
"

You probably should've let it lie. I reckon most people thought that the way you said it was pretty rude. It's difficult to tell what's a joke on the internet, what if she did log on and she was offended by it? You'd look like a dick, that's what. :?

Yeah, worked up. To be honest I didn't think it was a joke because you had previously been a fucking dipshit about her forum already. You might not appreciate it as much because you weren't registered when Tracy used to post here but she was always really really cool with all of us and our sometimes retarded questions. If she did happen to come back and had seen that "joke" question, she might well have taken offence. Pardon me for expressing my thoughts on you being an utter twat on the matter.

I agree with both Irish there.

The fact that Tracy posted on the forums was really cool. Come on what artist has his wife answer personal and unpersonal questions fans have? Although she appreciated their privacy, she was always willing to explain things, ask Devin or others, basically she did a great job. This demanded respect, and that is what she got. Until Alucard came along with his joke that no-body got.

I do agree that new posts in that forum are pointless, but I don't think Tracy needs to be ridiculed to express this sentiment.
