It's not really "punishment" as much as "salvation". The focus is on repentance more than prosecution. Also prostitutes in the middle ages were still abhorred, to an extent.

Also look up the history of the word "Barbarian". It was of greek origin used to refer to anyone who wasn't greek. :wink:

Interesting to see the men are the ones getting the orders of penance. Not the normal 'women are the weaker sex' idea.

A big meteorite apparently fell in Latvia.

At least I think it was a meteorite. It might be a meteor, I'm not sure if it exploded above ground.
