Actually China probably is doing much more about it than most Western countries.

Most of us are just pointing our fingers at China while sweeping our own waste under the carpet.

Yeah, the Made in China carpet!

I'd argue it's not just most of us, it's most specifically my country, because 50% of us feel inordinate guilt about it so we have to spread the blame, and the other 50% couldn't give two shits about the environment but hates China so there it is.

I just find it ironic that a lot of the people who hate countries that aren't the US supported a president with such a giant defecit that basically has China owning our debt.

Not that the new guy is much better.

Our whole system is unsustainable, but boy do I sure love my consumer products.

Yeah, just looking at stuff that I own and where it's made, where we would be without China?
We finns really look up to all products that are made in here, but still we moan about prices
and end up buying the chinese made, imported replacement product.

Trust me, I know all about Finnish product pride. My mom's side of the family is comprised of people from the Baltics and there's a wing of the family from Finland with the last name Heino (Some Finnish guy told me I should be proud of that name since it's a strong name), which if I talk to my cousin about Nokia she starts prattling incessantly about the damn company. But that's cool, I can't remember the last time America innovated... anything. Certainly not in the last ten years.

Being sick AGAIN. And worse this time, temperature currently running at 38.5 C and I'm running out of aspirin and food in general. Means I get to drag myself and my headache to the store tomorrow. Fun.

Your face doesn't look that pink.

But the illness makes you green. It may give you pink and green spots.
