Nobody's Here doesn't get the recognition it deserves...
^I don't know about that... It's 3rd in the poll. And it's pretty much my 3rd favourite song on the album.
True...it's tied with Deep Peace...
the running order of:
Nobody's Here
Tiny Tears
Stagnant
its probably my favorite 20 minutes ever recorded. Its a journey.

All of the songs are amazing but my favorite track is Earth Day.
Remember this, you others: the fire and the fury, the strength and defiance, this you admire, this you desire, I had to win them for myself. -Ihsahn: “And He Shall Walk in Empty Places” / The Adversary

Probably one of the best albums ever recorded, not just that (marvellous!) 20 minutes.. had to vote for Deep Peace if I didn't mentioned that already in this thread
Seeing it being played live in its entirety and I can die in peace...
"Is optimism only a consequence of a lack of information?"
well mine would have to be deep peace because of what it represents, for me its just the perfect song to help you wind down after a days work and listening to Canada directly after it gives me the feeling of Deep Peace in Canada just lying there realizing how amazing this country is and how privileged i am to live here.
Earth Day.
Mountain rules too.
Mountain rules too.
"A moment of rest upon the wind, and another woman shall bear me."
I'de be lying if I said anything other than Deep Peace. While Nobody's Here is a disgustingly close second, that orchestral solo in the middle is just the most incredible thing I've ever heard in my life. Like, if Mozart were resurrected as a heavy metal guitar player, that's exactly what he would have written.
Devin, are you the reincarnation of Mozart? You are, aren't you? That's the only way you're unfathomable genius can be explained...

So here are my hopes and aspirations. Nothing but puke. God I'm so lonely...
Gratuitous list of all songs in order:

Nobody's Here
Deep Peace
Canada
Mountain
Stagnant
The Fluke
Tiny Tears
Down and Under

Sing and rejoice
Easy choice at first... Earth Day FTW!
But when you start think about it you start to remember epic solo of Deep Peace, and beautiful Nobody's Here and whole bunch of different details that plant doubt.
Still voted for Earth Day.

I still offer people olives in that slow tone after listening to the song so many times. Very few get it. But that's what makes it fun.
Earth Day, I think... it's so hard to choose with an album of this quality. Not a note out of place. Deep Peace, The Fluke and Canada are up there but the rest is still excellent, which is a rare thing. Ok, I guess Humble's understandably slightly weaker but I don't often stop the CD after Stagnant.
