Awesome show! I loved the ending in Numbered! when only the crowd were singing!

I must say, my voice was nearly gone after that gig. Also during Deadhead one of the water spraying guys decided to spray straight at me for some reason, I even have video of it.:) Maybe he was trying to stop me from filming, but then again, he didn't seem to mind the others. Well, anywho, a great show and now I've made a decision never to miss any of Dev's gig that will be in Finland. As if that would've happen anyway...

Devin delivered best gigs in the whole festival!

Good set and man, Devin could've sang all Anneke's vocals on Addicted! without breaking a sweat.. awesome to sing them by himself, rather than playbacking all of 'em..

And Life gave me chills... That was the first song I heard from Devin in 2002.. listening to it live really was one of the greatest, if not the greatest gig-experience I've ever had.

Thanks to the other fans besides me and of course to DTP!

See you on the other side!

In - friggin' - deed! Kingdom was a total surprise in the Ziltoid set and an amazing performance from the band! But yes, his voice is superb, wish I could sing half as well as he does...:/

By the way, can any of you tell if Dev had signing session at Tuska or not? Only very few non-finnish bands had them  . I tried to check out the bulletin board that stated the coming signing sessions every now and then, but I couldn´t spot Devins name on it .

I don't think he had any. I'm sure it would've been on the board if there were a signing session. I was hoping for one though, I even brought all my records with me. I'd guess there perhaps was a time issue? I'm sure he would've held one if he could.

Yes, that is the reason he sprayed you :D. I saw them doing it a couple of times, I guess they spray most of the people they see filming the show.

He played Gaia! God damn, should have bought that plane ticket. A friend and I were sooo close to doing it.
I'm sure Tuska is an experience in itself, but man, that looks like it was an absolutely amazing show.

Much love to the lucky people of Finland and to DT!

Here's to hoping he comes back next Tuska with Decon! It will be on July 1st, Canada Day. I am sure he could work that in some how.

This and the Ziltoid set include the finest concert moments of my life. I have seen a lot of great gigs, but there is something special about finally (finally!) getting to see your favourite artist live after (seemingly) eons and eons of listening to his stuff. It strikes me that Devin's range of vocal styles is pretty much complete, and he performs them all with such painful perfection. I shed a couple of tears during Deadhead and Kingdom, I totally underestimated the emotional impact of finally hearing this stuff live. I would have loved to hear Trainfire and Death of Music, but I suppose not all of his gems are metal-festival material. The setlist was otherwise complete for me. I mean, GAIA!

This music reaches me in places which nothing else has touched before. It's almost sensual, I swear to God.

Also, never before has a metal crowd popped the horns and banged to Vengaboys. :> AND I had the fucking "If you like to party"-tune stuck in my head for WEEKS!
