Returning to myspace after brief absence is always a joy. Checked my profile yesterday - turned out "buy" buttons magically appeared next to my tunes and they were available only as a 30 second samples for non logged viewers. Awesome, felt like a real musician for a moment. Must admit having the songs available only in 30 second portions helps them much. Also, apparently every song uploaded has its ending prematurely cut.

Wondered if anyone else noticed that, so went to myspace forum (which wasn't easy, since link to forum is nowhere to be found, google helped) only to see I can't change language version, because "settings" link leads to some random dude's profile - looks like they set the link without checking somebody's already having profile there (it has "controls" in url). Proper disaster, looks like they never regained the control of the damn thing, it breaks in more amusing way than a low buget video game. The bit where they reset the privacy settings and I had christian rock bands and some chavvy dance dudes automatically added as friends was awesome as well.

No way I'm deleting my page from there, it's my favourite slapstick networking site.

Why does my microphone makethis horrible noise when I use skype or other web applications. It sounds perfectly fine when I use it for recording... and the problem persists when I use an external microphone. :?

I wonder how many of the nearly-7000 members on this forum are dead.

I remember that German guitarist dude, a regular from early period of HDR forums, who was battling cancer. Stumbled upon his blog some time ago and found in comments he lost the battle finally.

I feel a bit like an ass not even remembering his nick. Only remember he had his photo (with guitar) as the avatar and was generally cool guy.

You don't mean Terraformer (Dan) do you?

What a morbid thought.

I was just curious. A girl on a forum for a local pirate radio station here in Cork that I used to frequent had a signature that just read "maybe I'm dead..." and I often remember it and ponder.

Bacon, rabbit, and rosemary, with a touch of brussels sprouts.
This is the taste in my mouth after eating 4 hours ago.

69 people online... Will the record be beaten tonight!?

Edit: 54... Probably not. Maybe for the pre-order! That's what did it for Addicted.

A wild BlazingMonga appears.

Augmented9th notices him.

Blazingmonga doesn't recognise Aug9th. But then again, many people from Haddy and nearby have changed a fair bit ;)

Put me in a box. I'll be alive and dead...AT THE SAME TIME!
