Slayer have pulled a Black Sabbath and have kicked out Dave Lombardo over a financial dispute.
Apparently he was getting the short end (most of the band's profits going to their label and management), and when he approached Kerry King, offering a fairer financial model, he was turned away and shortly after dismissed.

I don't understand King's attitude in this situation, surely he was to benefit from Lombardo's idea too? Or was he the only one getting underpaid in which case surely King would've helped? I sympathise with Dave and it sounds like a rotten scenario but I'll be interested in hearing what the band have to say about it.
