A used pair of Grado SR-60 headphones I came across on Ebay (and happened to win the auction). Bought some new ear pads for them and replaced the slightly bent plug. It must have been almost ten years since I last soldered anything, but it went surprisingly well.

Ah, gotcha. Well, I'm glad you were able to get it replaced without much hassle. That's a bit annoying to have that problem right off the bat though.
