Kind of a sad thing, but one of my former managers who's a really awesome lady passed me by today on the way home. She informed me that she had been made redundant; I gave her my sympathies and hoped she gets a better job (shouldn't be too hard).
She thanked me and then went on to say how cool she thought I was. How even though a lot of people seem to think of me as that bearded weirdo (no surprise), she always held me in high regard as one of the coolest and nicest people she had met there. That really lifted my spirits and I was quite grateful. I really do hope she finds something better.

Alestorm live. Plus the fact that my face may be on their upcoming DVD - my sister's face for sure.

My son's walking and talking (talking in both English and Australian sign language - my folks are deaf). That's pretty awesome!

Came back from Australia today. Amazing trip. Acquired a girlfriend. Took awesome pictures, had a good time.

This one experience really pops out to me; this place we camped at called 'Wye' had almost no light pollution, and we could see the universes.
