Yeah, I'm quite ambivalent to live shows, but I notice that when I'm in a funk as far as music-listening goes, going to a concert will suck me right back in.

im going to the calgary folk fest in a couple months.... sam roberts, socalled, aimee mann, calexico, bill callahan, ani difranco, master musicians of jajouka... etc. lots of great shit.

i just saw the diving bell and the butterfly and i feel a little down. or i guess insignificant is more accurate.

What the hell is wrong with people these days? They're all a bunch of lazy, greedy fucks. Over the past couple of months, we in The Netherlands have had to endure strikes from:

• Students
• Bus drivers
• Police
• Mailmen
• Airport luggage handlers
• Mail sorters
• Bus drivers again

And that's just the national ones (that I can remember). I've heard there have been more that haven't made the news.
