ah, ok...they must have made one of them compatible not long ago. I remember the lack of compatibility for one of the GTA's kept me from buying the trilogy before. So that is good news.

I'd say he's just bought himself a kickass laptop. If we've now come to a world we're we are buying guitar chords, then our musical journeys would get somewhat limited unless your'e a rich mofo.

My guess is the more complex chords would be the expensive and open major chords are just super cheap.

Hmm, I got:

- Munchies and drinks
- Disturbed "Asylum" CD/DVD (Decade of Disturbed)
- Planet Waves Instrument Care packs, they've worked great on my acoustic.
- Boss FZ-5 Fuzz Effect Pedal, which I'm beginning to doubt why I got it. Its alright but theres only one mode thats
worth using it for, the others are meh.
- D'Addario Light 12-53 Phospher Bronze acoustic strings.

So I'm happy for a while, till I get the craves for more money-sucking items.

But a chord called "Asus G73JH" could just be so complex one would have to be very well trained in music theory, sound physics and psychology to construct it. There would be so much WORK involved the creation of that chord, that your average guitarist or other musician could never form it, because they simply don't understand how to, thus making it worth money.

IF someone really would want to ever hear such a chord, of course.

Can you imagine someone owning a Gmaj chord?

I imagine it would be something like how someone still has the rights to 'Happy Birthday'.
Everyone would use it anyway and no one would bother suing over it, so it might as well not be owned.

Ordered Soilwork's The Panic Broadcast, decision made after about 1:15 of listening to this:

Some killer hooks right there, I think I'm loving them again. Also Dirk Verbeuren.

Picked a copy of last Deftones as well.

Nifty invention. I'd find a lot of use for these if they made ones for AAA batteries (the only thing I really have that runs on batteries is my wireless mouse) and I had more than two USB ports in my PC...
Oh well, time to upgrade I guess. :)
