Did you have to pay with a limb or did you manage to find it at a reasonable price?

Really!? Bloody hell. Prex bought me my copy 4-odd years ago for not that much either and I was staggered. When I'd looked for it previously on eBay and Amazon and Play it was being sold for well into the hundreds of pounds. Did they re-issue it or something?

It has a sticker on it saying "Remastered using tube technology, digitally edited on a golden disc. Ltd edition to 2000 numbered copies" - so yeah I guess so. It then says "MASS CD 1389 DG" - So I'm just assuming that means mine is no. 1389...

1389 is the Catalog Number, apparently. Label must have decided to remaster and re-release it, by the sounds of things.. Possibly ahead of the new album..?

I've never had an issue with 'em, and I was always horrible about changing my strings. I'd change them when they broke, and that wasn't very often. Always sounded crisp and punchy.

I've always used D'Addarios n thought they were fine...

...but maybe that's the point, they're all I've used pretty much (Other than Ernie Ball once way back, and DR's once too). Might give Elixir a try next time around.
