haha. I have a Dean ML which I bought second hand from a dealer in the states and when I got it the strings felt like Dime had spewed a couple of Black Tooth grins over them. Literally the day after the guitar arrived we had a major family incident and somehow the guitar got forgotten for for a while. 5 years later I STILL HAVE NOT CHANGED THE STRINGS and I swear the spirit of Dime lives every time I pick up that guitar. I do wash my hands after playing it though.

Perhaps the pores in my fingers secrete something hugely oxidizing, but my D'Addarios always went dull after about 2/3 weeks and the unwound strings would be pretty rusted after about 3 months. I even take a bit of extra care of the strings by wiping them with a dry cloth when I finish playing, which helps somewhat but they're still gone pretty quickly. The first set of Elixirs I tried over a year ago is still on my guitar now, and sounding as crisp as when they went on.

Very happy with them, as restringing is not my hobby. Also they're actually saving me money because they cost less than the 4 sets of D'Addarios I would have needed in the same time span. :)

Dear god, 3 months! I usually change at least once every month. Still haven't found out what string gauge I want on my baritone. But after having Elixir on my E guitar and on my baritone... I just can't find anything that compares. Tried an Ernie Ball baritone set and they literally went flat after three days. No joke :/. Reason why I was whining about my fingers is because I was doing alot of slides for this ambient-ish thing I am working on right now, and I'm used to the oiled up Elixirs compared to the D'Addario which felt like sandpaper.

Featuring all sorts of recipes from various metal musicians (including Lemmy, Zakk Wylde, Jed Simon, Rex Brown, Liv Kristine and many more). I can now say I own a heavy metal cookbook.

I read that as 'feel it off me'. having seen your recent pic, I thought 'that seems a not unreasonable intention'.

Not to mention the fact that Attenborough's voice is liquid gold.

If it was a sex-centred series the cover image is certainly depicting one very happy husband lemur and one very unsatisfied wife lemur.
