So much online shopping/sales today.
Pair of sweet shorts, a lipstick, coin purse.
Also a cute pixellated-looking hair bow and a Portal shirt from ThinkGeek...

...aaaaand, this. My new baby.

It's basically a gameboy which runs Linux, you install emulators on it, load it with ROMs and play Gameboy, NES, SNES, Atari, Commodore 64 and a bunch of other retro console games on it. There's also a PlayStation 1 emulator for it, although most things run pretty shoddily. Also supports some picture, video and audio formats, and there's a bunch of freeware things like a calculator and crap like that.

My days of sucky lectures, are over.

I have a Dingoo A320. Basically a cheaper equivalent without the PS1 ability that's more difficult to program for, but dear god do the buttons and d-pad feel better. :)

Yeah, I looked at that and the Caanoo but both were actually more expensive at the time, and the only difference I could see between the Wiz and Caanoo was that the Caanoo has a thumbstick, slightly larger screen and double the RAM...but according to youtube, both run most things at about the same speed anyway.

Dingoo does have a lovely button layout, dunno how I'll fare with two D-pads but I'll get used to it, I'm sure. :P

Internet says it runs Atari800, DOSbox and Amiga emulators. Which means: where can I get one?

Well I got mine here, on sale for $100 at the 'mo

http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/retro-gaming/bfc7/

They also stock the Dingoo and Caanoo, albeit for a bit more.

If you read the info it links to a site that hosts a heap of freeware emulators, applications and stuff for it so it's good to poke around there and see what you can actually do with it. Youtube is also great for seeing it in action.

Holy shit $50 for shipping! There's my entusiasm extinguished.

I'm getting that Dingoo thing, it's half the price (with shipping), and much smaller risk of getting hit with import fees. Apparently it's quite cool once fitted with Linux.
