A T-shirt and transfer paper so we could put some of my 3 year old niece's drawings on it for her.....I chickened out of fabric paints - far too much potential for mess of the permanent variety

It looks very cool

Turisas - Stand Up And Fight Some pretty epic battle hymns here, and these guys really know how to pull of an entertaining gig.

Amorphis. I was tempted to get that. I really liked some of the songs from Skyforger that I heard, but never got round to buying the CD. I heard a teaser of their new album and was worried it might be a bit too same-y with "verse, half-catchy-chorus, verse, half-catchy-chorus" stuff... but if you say It's stunning, I may buy it :)

And Turisas. I was really surprised with that album. I listened to Stand Up and Fight (song) before the album was out, and was kinda disappointed. Then I got the album, listened to it once, and again, was kinda disappointed. Then I listened to it more... and started to really "see" it. Now I think it's great. I love the "stadium rock" / "theatre" / "musical" sort of feel it has going. Now I just wish it wasn't only 45 minutes long...

The Beginning of Times is way better than Skyforger (my humble opinion), it might take some time to fully open but once it does it just works. And works probably whole lot longer than Skyforger...

Yesterday I got:

Symphony X - Iconoclast and special edition naturally. More complex in a way than Paradise Lost, but once again this is only good thing.
In Flames - Sounds of Playground Fading only listened once and with that experience I give it 7/10 but probably gets better with time.
Turisas - The Varangian Way very cool stuff here, this band grows on you. Wish I could go to see Turisas and Devin, loads of creative madness in same room :D

Aye, it's not bad at all (a vast improvement on 'A Sense of Purpose') but it's definitely a grower. Give it chance :)

Just preordered Kuu... by Kauan. A bit of an experimental, neofolk and post-rock blend. Really looking forward to it!
