... of the Southeast Asian kind are EVERYWHERE here in Brisbane. The cutest, most watchable plague ever to hit humanity!

I've decided to make an attempt to photograph the little blighters (there's a baby on my desk at the moment that's about 3cm long and I want to eat him, he's so cute).

Here's a photo of one:

Watch this space.

GECKOS ARE FUCKIN AWESOME.
You see those little guys (and gals :P ) all the time? Lucky to live where you do, I suppose...
I might be looking for some pictures of the little fellows for the art for a future project... Maybe I'll just go to JuZ, the Geckofather of Brisbane.

They are so incredibly cute! I'd enver seen a Gecko before goign to Florida last year and I lvoed them...except I was in constant fear of treading on them as they shot out from the grass

When speaking of a collective group, "guys" is a gender-neutral term. So, you would have been good at leaving at that, or by adding "gal".

They're a bit like aliens... "they moostly come oot at night.. moostly."

Hey, that character's name was "Newt'.. what a weird coincidence. Anyway, I'm working late tonight so when I get home I'll get the camera out.

Yeah, they're amazing to watch, hunting bugs along the walls and ceiling. They're like miniature cats in the way they stalk their prey, then suddenly pounce.

Ok! Just took a few pics, and here they are:

This is the baby that seems to have taken up residence in the house, hunting baby spiders on the ceiling:

Here's a shot with my hand on the ceiling for scale (I'm tallish):

These are some of the 10 guard geckos that live outside our door:

And here's a close-up of one of them:

Sure can come in a variety of funky colours!

Is this Gecko plague a new development in Australia or something?
