So I just found out about Eryn Non Dae and they blew my balls off.

Then I found out they are french and it made perfect sense since they really reminded me of a lot of other awesome french metal bands (gojira, hacride, scarve), except more Meshuggahesque then even those bands. Which of course made me love them more because Meshuggah is my favorite band evr <3.

It seems France is developing their own sound, much like Sweden with Gothenburg metal, except good. Am I the only one that hears this?

Nope. I love me some French metal. They not only have great, own sound, but also a bunch of original videos, like every Gojira one or these made by Ben Deka (and this one you've posted, of course). France rocks.

Yeah the videos are amazing. They're not as cool as Tool videos but Tool has a slightly bigger budget. Pertubed by Hacride has an awesome video as well.

END. is the best I've heard so far of french metal. They are so fucking heavy. Love the vocals. I need to buy the album.

EDIT: Just read your thing. Klone sounded über french, and Trepalium was fucking funky. I think I heard a band like them, and I think they were french as well. But I forget who it has. Can't say I care for Teraliums (relatively) "clean" vocals though.

I absolutely love the French metal scene. I mean, fucking GOROD. That's all I have to say. Their new album is absolutely astounding. The French Necrophagist (only, better in my opinion...)

I've only heard Scarve, Gojira, Dagoba and Blut Aus Nord in terms of French metal muzak. Like those lads, except Dagoba. Saw them live and they were one of the most painful things I'd ever heard. Useless. The rest are very good though!

I have one Dagoba album and I don't think its bad...but its not something I listen to all the time.
