edc as in a blade (yes i know all the uk/euro residents cant carry a blade) so for all the uk/euro you can post what you have in your pockets.

fell free to post your blades (pics preferred)

i carry a Gerber STL 2.0 its the little black one with the lanyard on it. i wear it around my neck.

dosent have to be self deffence a lot of people carry knives because they use them for their everyday tasks say opening a box or prepareing a meal as i see it you knever know when you will need one be it to open a box cut a shoelace if it gets stuck in an escalator. or cut an old lady's scarf thats strangleing her by being caught in a elevator (true story that could of ended better if someone had enough comon sense to carry a small edc knife) http://www.boston.com/news/local/massac ... lips_away/

Actually UK residents can carry a blade as long as it is not a locking blade and is less than 3". Small SAK is fine.
Frustratingly, none of my Leathermans meet this criterion. Although perhaps the skeletool does. Must measure it.
It is permissible to carry a blade that falls outside this stricture if one has a justifiable reason for doing so, and I generally have a justifiable reason, so usually have a Leatherman Wave and either an Opinel no 7 or a Kershaw folder somewhere about my person.
Fortunately for me, being a middle-aged grey-haired bloke in corduroys and a tweed jacket, I tend not to attract stop&search activity from the Police in the same way as if I were a young fellow in a hoody and trainers.
Hell, there has to be some advantage to being old.

When I was deployed to Bosnia, my EDC was an M16. Outside of that, I don't normally carry anything, save my trusty Leatherman.

Quite a few people I know have that Spyderco Uk blade. It is a neat little thing, but a bit 'tacticool' for my liking. I tend to either a small multitool or a proper sized blade with a valid reason for carrying.
That said, I daresay that Spyderco would make a good paunching/skinning blade.

I just carry my wallet, keys, phone, and a USB stick.

I've no use for a knife, as the chances of being mugged where I come from (Dundee Scotland) are pretty low.

Unless you believe the word of Frankie Boyle...

I carry keys, iPod, wallet and phone. Though I do occasionally forget to leave my Stanley in work and find it in my pocket.

I do have a fair few knives, but to carry them on my person would be most foolish. A set of allen keys is more useful! And if I was to be mugged I think a face full of pennies would be enough.

What I cant leave the flat without though is; my flat keys, my wallet, my phone and my car keys.

I carry my keychain, my Nightpod, and wear my 108 bead Kali skull necklace and my "celtic cross" pendant every day. I used to carry round a Victorinox Hustman penknife 'til I got annoyed with the police telling me I could get arrested for something I couldn't. :patrol:
