there's an application called 'sound recorder'

XP users click start, then programs, then accessories, entertainment, then 'sound recorder'. There is NOTHING you can't do with this intricate audio recording software. Dark Side of the Moon was recording with this app.

I get good sound when really high!! higher the better!!

rat ta tat tat...make up a beat! make it real neat!

i once made a phat beat by farting into a microphone, then adding different reverbs and eq's, then looped it. see, not so hard! and it's royalty free!!

ps - make sure you wait a little bit before singing into the mic after making your beat...phew!!!

I'd recommend also getting a few mics and recording random noises. Make your own sample library that way. Then if you want people talking, trains, ambulances, etc... its all where you think you can find it.

Oh. FUZZ AND WHITENOISE. It rules. You can even use shitty mics and record frequencies off your am/fm radio. If you go from top to bottom frequencies really quickly and put it low in a mix, it can have a water type effect. Just use your imagineation.
