Hello fellow Devheads!

I am not sure where to put this, so I post it here! (Mods/Geoff; please remove it to where it belongs?)

I am planning to do a cover of "Storm" next month where I have the studio for my self for a week.
Well, I have the guitarparts figured out and I plan to play the drums as well.
But since I am not a bass player and a singer, I am looking for people from the boards to help me out!
One more thing: I am not that good at playing lead guitar, since I am more a rhythm guitarist, so I am also looking for someone to play the lead as well.

I want to mix thw whole thing it my self, but I am not the best mastering engineer, can anyone help me out with that as well?

Just so you know, I deleted the copy of this thread that was in the general discussion, as this is the right place for this.

This sounds really interesting, and Storm is an excellent choice to cover! I wish I could offer some help, but I cant.

There are some very hard vocal parts in this song...is anybody up to the challenge?

Storm is probably my favorite Devy song of them all, at least in my Top 3 but I think it's my favorite. So very, very, very good choice indeed! Go for it! I'm anxious to hear your version, dude!

I was planning on doing this a while ago, but my devy tuning guitar lost all ability to stay in tune, so kind of made it impossible!

If you need anyone for bass, I'll be happy to fill in unless oyu get someone better

Sounds good, I also can offer my bass playng to the task. I've been thinking about doing a cover myself at one stage havent picked a song though.

I would be very happy if you sang and played the lead! Your work on "Suicide" was great!
I might have found a bass player, but I will get back to you guys as soon as I find out some more.

Yep, I'm all good to record form here. Just do your backing track and when you've got it finished pm me and I'll give you my mailing address so you can send me a CD or you could even upload it onto yousendit.com or whatever. I just would rather perform to your track than to a click. When I've done my bits I'll mail you a disk with the wav files on them and you can just REPLACE them into your arrangement and do the mix from your end.

Thanks for the compliment! I'm looking forward to doing this one. I'm a much better singer now that I've been doing regular gigs so it will be much fun.

We still need to do that Devy tribute CD!!
