Seriously, I am tired about people bragging about their guitars.

What do you guys play? How long? Anything!
I have only been playing for 4 years so, I am quight the noob.
Go easy on me

Hey, add me to the list (and I'm the best kind of bass player - one who I can almost guarantee will be worse than you

)

I own a "Vintage" (company) V950B 5-string bass, though it's been with a friend in Nanaimo for awhile now. I might have to sell it for rent soon if I'm not able to get a new job soon.

A friend recently bought a new bass though, and he's giving me his old 4-string. It's just a cheap Samick bass but for some reason I just love the feel and sound of that thing. In general I seem to prefer everything about lower-end second-hand instruments. Is that odd?
Here's a couple pics of the 5-string:

I have the cheapest ESP LTD 5 string bass they make, it was like 200 USD. But I love it! haha. It sounds decent at least. Mainly for recording, but it has done some time in a band. But again, mostly just for recording purposes(songs with no bass=not songs.)

I have an Ibanez BTB555:

I like it a lot. It feels really massive and the playability is excellent. Been really into finger picking lately

Been playing bass for a little more than two years now, and now I mainly use a Schecter 4 string stiletto diamnod series or some crap.

Pretty much that but looks a little different. I also have a 6 string Cort Curbow bass.

^That but black.
I'm sort of proud of myself, I guess. I mean, basically, anything that involves regular finger picking I can play (there are a few exceptions, but most of the time I can) but I really need to work on my slap, it's awful. I mean, I can do some basic stuff with slap, but I know I really need to practice with it so I could at least play something like Tommy the Cat (by Primus) fluently.

I don't have any photos, but it's old and primitive, I think it's about 12 years old now, but I've taken very good care of it and done several repairs throughout the years to keep it in top working condition. However, it's a simple four string, but I really don't need anything else.
I play a number of different things, from playing along with Devin to some Primus, Mr. Bungle (getting close on Dead Goon), Funkadelic, Parliament, Faith No More, the Melvins, any doom, and everything in between.
