...sitting next to my computer, trying to force unsuspecting guitar and a drum plugin to my will. Began with some riff, with three chords over it and few loops of drums. After first 200 listens and tries to change something hated it, scribbled notes of only chords I liked, scrapped everything to hell, started over and ended up having this.

Wow I suprised myself, made thing 180 degrees different than planned. I think I'll try to cultivate my closet electronicophilia, synths are ace.

I see patern emerging, by the way - the more I want to record something metal, the less metal it ends up being. This was planned to be rather heavy, as you can guess. I'm rather helpless.

I like it! Very 'open' sounding. Lovely synths. Kind of dark blue, sort of like waves crashing violently under moonlight. Or some other (better) metaphor.

Added to the pile of HevyDevy music...yay.

Next bit of experimentation with recording. This time I managed to join my half-assed guitar skills with electronic bits - features my old cheapo Mayones guitar in standard tuning dugg just for recording this stuff and great Roland Juno emulator for cheesy synth pads. It's bit cheery sounding, either I am a closet optimist or just have to learn some different guitar scale. Second half is less cheery and I like it more I think.

It's Here and of course on my myspack.

I like how much fun you can have with only free effects and instruments. Internets = cheapskate's paradise :)

Man, that's super-nice. I guess I'd be rubbish in jamming, my favourite instrument is copy-paste custom :) (ok, guitars in track abouve were actually recorded in one session per track, but still - I was tempted to just loop the fuck of them).
