Me playing some porno musak!

I got into Devin through Vai as I'm sure a load of you guys have too. For years I saw his CDs in shops and assumed he was just a singer singing other peoples songs trying to make a bit o' money of the whole Vai dealy. How wrong was I.

Any widdlers among us? Let me here you wail.
Some honest coments'd be greatly appreciated.

TheOmniscient: I actually think it's the other way around to what you imagine-- I think most of us here only heard (of) the Vai album after getting into Devin. I actually just picked it up recently, heard it for the first time. Devin's vocals are spectacular most of the time, if quite painful to listen to-- in a very good way (the scream at the beginning of 'Survive' makes me taste blood every time I hear it). Music didn't do anything for me, really. I did like one or two tracks but on the whole it sort of put me to sleep. Not my genre, really. Never was able to get into shred
