Dev has inspired me to create my own little recording thing at home. Here is a song I wrote about my dad, if you would like to hear it here it goes........

Please if you would be so kind, leave feedback, constructive criticism. I'll start....blatant James Hetfield vocal ripoff.

Yeah the vocals didn't do anything for me at all. Guitar work was good, but lacked dynamics as well as the drums/beat, which started to annoy me half way through the song. But ya made up for all that with the mellow part that kicks in around the 5:16 mark, everything about that section was right! id like to hear ya try more stuff like that!

But hey that's only my opinion, at the end of the day if you like what your doing the go for it!

Thank you sir, I agree about the drums. As far as vocally, I am kinda lost regarding this song. How could they be better, in your opinion?

Well i can only say what i think would work over the heavy sections of the song, which would be a mid range type scream, but can you do that stylre is another thing? Im not saying ya cant do it, never heard ya try! Are you planning on starting a band based on this material?

Oh and im guessin its a drum machine/program yeah?

Yeah I dont think my mid range scream would sound good enough. And besides the last time I tried my voice was fooked for a couple of days. I can do cookie monster death metal vocals, but I dont think they mesh well with the song.

I'm not starting a band, its more like a one man project type thing. The reason I am not starting a band is I hate having to rely on other people to play music. Sooo... Dev has inspired me to do the project thing. It is in no way centered around this song, this is just another song. There is alot of my stuff on last.fm the band name is Jovian Litany. I just uploaded my stuff a few days ago. Thanks again for the feedback.
