Right up there with Darkest Hour, I think Dev's production on Misery Signals "Of Malice and The Magnum Heart" is perfect and does a great job of adding what we've love aboot the Dev into a metalcore-type band. As soon as the first track starts up, you just know he was involved...
Anyone else have thoughts about this one?

I actually like the production on their new album more, the overly loud sound suits them more than Devin's very precise sound does imo.

The drums are certainly louder and the guitars are thicker and more "death" sounding... I just like that feel Dev brings to a production, that shimmery high end with those killer bass drops...

Love 'Of Malice...'. About 30 seconds into the first track it is just pure Dev sounds going on. I swear its him singing that bit too.

Yeah, I don't know... it's probably because Of Malice is wayyy too Killswitch Engage-y musically (especially the vocals).
