my copy of synchestra arrived in the mail today and as I'm opening it, I find that traditional note from Tracy, with her trademark smiley, but this time it says "thanks again Michal" (that's my name btw). So now I have this big happy grin all over my face, thinking how awesome Tracy is, then I find this Dev postcard which is really cool. Then I notice there is something more and it's voila, the backcover of Ocean Machine, my favourite album ever, signed by the man himself! Right now I'm on an endorphine high, feeling like a 5 year old boy (or a day old male :D) on xmas.

Dev, Tracy, I know those are only tiny details for you but those details showcasing your superb approach towards your fans just made one dude in Europe extremely happy ^_^.

Just wanted to get that out...I love you both and wish you all the best :)

That's really cool. All I got was an outdated newsletter... which I greatfully still read.

Well I will remember not to include anything next time. Sheesh.

I write the newsletters about every 3-4 months. There is not enough news to do them more frequently.

I was just joking around :( It's really great that you send anything, most people don't, and I said that I gratefully still read it. Sorry to offend you. Sometimes my humors goes over peoples heads, I'll just head back to my corner and be quiet.

That would be a cute game to keep him occupied while I work.

I think that some people would appreciate it while others would just be confused or think it unprofessional. :)

Most of the things I have had in packages as bonus stuff has made it onto my walls. I was also esspecially pleased with a "Thanks again Chris!" which also made it onto my wall. So I shall throw in my thanks into the hat of gratitude :D

I bought the "For Those Aboot To Rock" DVD at a Strapping gig at the end of 2005; brought it home to find out it was badly scratched and wouldn't play past a certain point. I emailed Tracy asking if perhaps there was some way I could get a replacement, but if there wasn't I had no real problem ordering a new one from HDR... However, after an email or two a brand new sealed copy arrived in the mail, along with a newsletter (with a "Thanks Josiah! :)" on it), a catalog, an 8 1/2x11 band picture, and various photos from the 'Zen' video shoot.

I was floored. I don't think I ever got around to sending my thanks via email, but, well, thanks. The little details (and often not-so-little details) like this are just amazing and really make it worthwhile. Unfortunately I'm broke at the moment (and have been teetering on that edge for awhile), but if I wasn't you can be sure I'd be ordering alot more from HDR. :P
