I move we make this thread the home of the unofficial petition to get Devin to appear as a guest on Spicks & Specks or Good News Weeks while he's in Australia.

I cannot think of a more awesome thing to happen while he is in this country.

Officially booked Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide. I'm scared.

I'm actually pretty jealous.

Haha. Man, this is the kind of thing that would normally make me jealous of other people. I've taken two weeks off work for it...
The people at work (old and fragile people) asked me who I was going to see... I was at my desk, and googled townsends name... They were mortified by the initial images that came up of devy rocking out full-tilt with his skullet. I showed them how he looks now in one of the addicted promo pics and they immediately were more interested in hearing his music.

Anyway... I've never really caught a plain or gone interstate before, so I'm a little bit terrified. Can't wait to rock out.

I'm currently organising a Devin meet up. Thought we could all get together and have a few drinks before catching Dev in Melbourne. I've put on a few fan meet and greets before. I put the Iron Maiden meet up together which is actually on the Iron Maiden: Flight 666 DVD...I'm the big bloke at the start who introduces the meet up. :p

I also did one for Blind Guardian and Judas Priest.

I've got a few bars in mind for the meet up. I'm organising some stuff now but I'll chuck all the information on here when I'm done.

Woot! Good times ahead.

Yeah im down, do one in Melbourne!

Bah, don't stress it, what a great way to introduce yourself to different cities and to flying! You'll have an absolute blast. Just don't get too excited about the food on the plane... all those airline food jokes are almost invariably based on fact.

I don't know if he'll have the time. The dates look awfully like a fly in, play show, sleep, sly to next city, play show no breaks kind of tour.

It would be awesome if he did however I have also noticed that the writers and stars of Spicks and Specks are extremely limited in their knowledge of metal.

Dev would be awesome on there.

Ever noticed how metal is the one genre that's perpetually ignored, despite the producers contnuing to put it up there as an option? And metal musos never seem to get a run on the show either. They did have a death metal band up on stage as the name that tune band at one stage.

If they want good stories and humour, surely metal folk would be worth having on...

Yeah, it is a cryin' shame Justin.
"Metal don't need no steenking badges!!"

Steve Lukather on Spicks and/or Specks was absolutely hilarious.

On Topic: Me at Enmore, Billboard and Fowlers.
Say "g'day" if you will. I use a deodorant...
