Last time Canada post went on strike they dumped all the mail in Lake Ontario! No joke!

I have a feeling that was probably the actions of one or two asshole mail carriers who then lost their jobs.

Probably was but none the less.

If my local HMV actually had the damn albums in stock I'd just cancel my order. This city only has a few small shops. Ugh.

I was in HMV in Burlington last night and they said they were sold out of both albums. I only wanted to look at the albums, not buy, so I wasn't disappointed, but actually happy to hear that the discs were moving out of the store!

Sunrise Records had both for $12.99 or $13.99 I can't remember. Since I'm waiting for the preorder to arrive, it wasn't important to me. If you can find a Sunrise, they are there.

Fuck Canada Post. All they do is bring me junk mail and bills. I hope they all lose their jobs and the system goes tits up. I own my own business and I have no guaranteed salary or retirement plan. What would happen to me if I went on strike against myself? Greedy, sense of entitlement fucks... typically Canadian if you ask me.

exactly this.. this whole strike/lockout is a stupid excuse of greed they should be fired they get paid close to double what i make and want more money and more guarantees. It's absolutely redicious im glad i bought the albums on itunes and am buying the physical copies when the boxset comes out but its redicious to have to wait for mail or anything of the sort im sorry to all those who are waiting.. canada post sucks hard

Yup, it's just a matter of time, now it seems. The govt. has passed the legislation to force them back, but it's just waiting some formalities like the royal ascent and shit like that. (Last I read, anyway). Mail should be flowing again as early as tomorrow (Monday) but probably Tuesday is a more likely scenario.

I'm in the US and I put an order in on June 19th and this morning I got an email confirming the purchase and saying that it will be shipped shortly. Very very very upset about this. I was hoping I'd get them before I see Devy in Atlanta next Friday.

In Ontario.. still nothing yet. I remember hearing that many places in the US weren't even shipping mail to Canada until they knew the strike was up or something to that effect. Here's hoping it's on the way for us..

Got a notification at my door today that they tried to deliver it while I was out. God Damnit. At least I know it's not lost somewhere. I'll have it tomorrow!
