Are you people serious? This is one of the best line ups I have ever seen in Australia.

Faith No More, Meshuggah, Jane's Addiction, Isis, Baroness, Clutch and maybe Dev? Fuck yes.

How can you say don't do it? That's insane! Dev getting a chance to play a festival, a chance for people to hear him for the first time meanwhile it being a festival automatically means sides shows so the fans can go see his own show as well. He should do it for the pure fact that people are going to have a cahnce to hear him for the first time ever, as well as the fans there getting to see their fav musician. THEN he get's to do side shows around australia too, it's a win/win situation.

Guys, he's NOT going to play Soundwave. He said he's touring in March, Soundwave is in February.

The guy behind Soundwave has his own touring company bringing out bands for their own tours as well.

The hifi is terrible, well when i went there last.

Sounds like it has gone dowhill...mind you, last time I was there was SYL in 2003.
I guess the venue isn't as important as the event.

Then again, i only went to an underage gig last year. I thought the sound was terrible.

I think the venue is really important, coz when i saw Slayer and Megadeth at Festival hall, the ound, it was terrible, i hate that venue.

Billboard is always good from me being there like 2 times already this year, and all the underage gigs i went to there.

Ireckon i might have to do a bit of a road trip if he does come down, at least to one other state. Ive only ever seen him once and that was in France as SYL on the New Black tour, was so good. But seeing hearing his solo stuff live would rule.
