You know I heard stories of you being invasive at one point with your odor... fun times! Sadly when I wanted to meet you, I got on your tour bus, and you were hungry got off, and then I actually wanted to get off of the first tour bus I was on. If I was only a little pushier I'd have said hello when you were shifting thru your clothes outside of the venue (domino room, bend oregon) After the show some big guys rushed you and were yellin about you being a god and into the tour bus you dissappeared... Jed gave us free T's thou!

I'm sure next time you'll say hello to the redhead =)

Wow, I'm just getting all kinds of good news today, and now this! Looking forward to seeing you in Charleston, Dev. Keep an eye out for a fellow Pasty McB. with a beard, front-and-center.

Me and a couple buddies will be making the trip out to Denver to see you. Hopefully we can have a brief chat after the gig. We'll try not to be dicks, we promise.

I remember standing next to Dev in Glasgow when he was watching Godflesh play.

He had a hoodie on so I thought he didn't want to be recognised so I didn't bother him.

Very sad but I was too nervous to say hello and well, it was obvious that he just wanted to watch Godflesh.

I'm glad that people like us exist =) That day I remembered everyone, even musicians, are human. I'm glad Dev doesn't have the ego god complex. I'd rather leave someone alone then meet a dick.

I'm assuming that it'll be a lot harder to do a meet and greet at Bloodstock then? I'm really hoping I can get to that.

First (and only time) I met Devin was at the Ozzfest. My ticket had the wrong time on it so I arrive an hour AFTER SYL went on. They were doing a signing in the Jager tent though so I at least had the hopes of meeting the band... Nope. 21+ only. They weren't even selling booze, it was just a Strapping poster with Jagermeister written across the bottom. After they finished the band and Jager staff left and Devin was the only one left hanging around. So I gently tapped him and said they wouldn't let me in but asked if he could still sign a poster. And what did he do? Signed not one but TWO posters for me AND my girlfriend(who is a big SYL/Devin fan as well). Very cool. I even got a handshake and a "have a nice day". Thanks Devin. I didn't get to see the only band I drove 6 hours to see but that helped make up for it. Shortly after I began listening to Devins non-SYL stuff starting with Synchestra and have been hooked ever since.

I look forward to seeing you in January. My girlfriend will also be coming and my cousin too(got him hooked this summer when I played Ki for him). We'll try not to make you feel like a Jonas brother what with all the high pitched screaming, crying, wetting of ones trousers, and fainting... Yes, we'll try to keep that to a minimum. But I can't make any promises.

Bloodstock is great in that every year they have a signing tent that most of the main stage bands very nicely agree to be a part of. I've got a lot of stuff signed at that festival over the past few years, haha. Hopefully Dev will be part of BOA 2010's signing tent.

Does anybody knows where Devin usually stand after a gig to meet his fans ?
I mean he's he standing on the side of stage watchin' the other bands play or his he gonna go to his Merch stand(or wherever) after his gig ?
I'm going to the Montréal gig and I'm really looking forward to meet him. It's a shame he's not headlining, I don't know shit about the headliner.
But whatever it's Devin and if I get the chance to meet him well...
