The round of 32 is upon us! One on side of the bracket, the top seeds were disintegrated into a flaming hellstorm of oblivion. On the other side, while the top seeds by and large survived, the biggest upset came in the form of #14 Planet Of The Apes upsetting #3 By Your Command, and by a convincing margin.

Voting will be open until at least Sunday at 3 PM ET. This week is a crazy one for me, what with it being finals week and my girlfriend gradumacating and then leaving, but at some point on Sunday or Monday it will get updated.

The chaos continues in Devyville as more top-seeded songs got upset. There's only one regional left with any sort of structure, and that one may pit two album favorites against each other in the Elite 8. Here's the previews for the Silly Sally 16:

Terria Regional:
#12 Planet Rain vs #16 Bad Devil: The same song that lost to "an intro" in the Infinity tournament has knocked off the reigning Devy Madness champion and some stiff 2nd round competition in Storm. Planet Rain, meanwhile, is Physicist's lone survivor in this tournament after Kingdom lost in the first round. Pick: Planet Rain
#2 Funeral vs #14 Lady Helen: I'm happy that one of my favorite songs on Ki made it this far, but it stands virtually no chance in this one. Then again, that's what I said about Bad Devil against Deep Peace. Pick: Funeral

Synchestra Regional:
#9 Life vs #12 Tiny Tears: Much like Lady Helen, I'm quite happy with Tiny Tears advancing this far. Their matchup against another Ocean Machine contender is much more winnable. Pick: Tiny Tears
#2 Bastard vs #11 Winter: Oh hey, my other favorite song from Ki made it! Wait, it's taking on Bastard? Nevermind. Can't go against that one. Pick: Bastard

Ocean Machine Regional:
#4 Earth Day vs #8 Disruptr: First, Disruptr made it all the way to the Ki semis, and now it makes the Sweet 16 while knocking off The Death Of Music? I think the universe is out of order at this point. Pick: Earth Day
#10 Nobody's Here vs #14 Planet Of The Apes: I don't have an especially strong affinity for either of these tunes, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick Nobody's Here. But my pick to win this is POTA (President of the Awesome).

Deconstruction Regional:
First off, a couple footnotes:
-This regional is essentially an Accelerated Evolution vs. Deconstruction death match now.
-In the event that either of these two albums sweep this round, it would be the first time in this tournament that two songs from the same album play each other. This is also a possibility for Ocean Machine in one of the other regionals, and Terria in another.
#1 Poltergeist vs #4 Suicide: The first and only "chalk" matchup in this bracket, I personally can't decide which one I love more. Pick: Poltercide
#2 Deadhead vs #6 Deconstruction: This one's also close, and I have reason to believe Deconstruction is going to win. But goddammit, I love (pick:) Deadhead.

The final #1 seed fell, and we have an album death match. Here's the Elite 8 previews:

Terria Regional:
#12 Planet Rain vs #14 Lady Helen: While I enjoy both of these songs, I'm hopping on the Lady Helen bandwagon.

Synchestra Regional:
#2 Bastard vs #12 Tiny Tears: This one is the equivalent to Poltergeist and Suicide for me, in that I can't decide which one I like more. And I expect a similar result (Poltercide tied).

Ocean Machine Regional:
#4 Earth Day vs #10 Nobody's Here: While it's a nice surprise to see Nobody's Here still alive, I have to pick Earth Day in this Terria battle royale.

Deconstruction Regional:
#4 Suicide vs #6 Deconstruction: I'm expecting Deconstruction to win this one for some reason. Me personally, I'm not quite sure where I stand yet.

Songs remaining from each album:
Terria: 3
Ocean Machine: 1
Physicist: 1
Accelerated Evolution: 1
Ki: 1
Deconstruction: 1

Here we go; it's the Final Four! The closest matchup was the Terria deathmatch between Earth Day and Nobody's Here...and it wasn't all that close. Let's see what the semis bring us.

#14 Lady Helen vs #12 Tiny Tears:
Lady Helen's improbable run towards the title continues on the heels of its victory over Physicist runner-up Planet Rain. Despite being a 12-seed, Tiny Tears has looked entirely unstoppable in this tournament, blowing out its hardest competition so far in Bastard. I'm pulling for Tiny Tears in this one.

#4 Earth Day vs #4 Suicide:
This is a highly intriguing matchup; Suicide defeated #1-seeded Poltergeist in a tiebreaker, then proceeded to run roughshod over Deconstruction in the Elite Eight. Earth Day has comfortably won most of its matches, but hasn't looked entirely unstoppable. Thus, the battle is between the consistency of Earth Day and the whipsawing roller coaster routine of Suicide. Or at least that's what it would be if this were a basketball tournament. I'm picking Suicide, although I won't be even slightly surprised (or disappointed) if Earth Day were to win.

Terria: 2
Accelerated Evolution: 1
Ki: 1

It's title time! And when it is all over, Terria will once again have a song on top of the world. But it won't be Deep Peace.

This time, however, the voting will be in the OP poll. So...here it is!

#4 Earth Day vs #12 Tiny Tears: I sort of lied when I said that I wouldn't be disappointed if Earth Day were to win the semis; I like Suicide a lot more than I do Earth Day, and this would've made it much harder for me to make my pick in this matchup. As such, I love Tiny Tears, and I'm riding its bandwagon all the way to the championship.

Songs remaining from each album:
Terria: 2
