Hey guys,

Here's an update on what's been brewing recently concerning the tour. I'm a lurker at the http://www.metalsetlists.com forums and they have been busy digging info from the Devin Townsend/Children of Bodom tour that's coming up this summer. So far this is what is known...

The rumored line-up, as supposedly confirmed on a couple venue websites that have already announced it, is the following:

Children Of Bodom
Devin Townsend Project
Obscura
Septic Flesh

The dates already confirmed are in July.

On a second note, Obscura announced on their Facebook page earlier today that they will make a big North American tour announcement tomorrow (April 12th) at noon. If the rumors are true, we are bound to have the tour dates revealed tomorrow. I'm stoked!

I had the same feeling with COB when I went to see them last week. I went mainly for the supports Ensiferum/Amon Amarth (Amon Amarth actually sucked that night - Johan was on form, but their drummer is terrible).

Anyway, the last couple of times I've seen COB they were pretty lacklustre, but they actually impressed me this time round.

Having Devin on the bill with them isn't a bad thing - just means he'll get to play to a few people who might not have heard him yet, which is generally a good thing.

awesome, Septicflesh and Dev should make for quite an epic show! Aside from Deconstruction and Ghost, "The Great Mass" has been circling around my highly anticipated of 2011 list
