Didn't see another thread about this, but Devy's been nominated for best event (London shows) and best guitarist in the Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards, you can vote for him here

As DTP will be at Download a few days before the awards, it would not surprise me if he's/they're invited to the awards...and with a bit of luck, go home with a slightly heavier suitcase...

Yeah, Dev got my votes, too. Although Maiden did put on a good 2011 tour - but then, they always do (which is why I voted them for live band). Dev did something a bit more special, even though I didn't get to see it (at least not until the DVD comes out).

I don't understand the registering of votes. It seems to just refresh the page when I try to do that.

Went outside the O2 to find a working toilet before the awards started, found Dev instead. Disappointed.

Actually first met Dev outside a toilet...but no. Me and my buddy ran off to find some working bogs (the O2 Arena complex is MASSIIIIVE) and we kinda found him, Andy and Paul. No bogs though.
