The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

Man......I'm such a not bothered about techno person!!!

I can do e-mails and stuff, but as far as uploading photo's etc, i'm useless...

Anyhoo, i got a bunch of Dev & Syl clothing, albums, posters, interview clippings etc (needless to say pretty much every Dev related album including Sex & Religion and the F.L.A stuff he played on as well) As well as doing the Superfan thing in Metal Hammer as well (which i found a couple of weeks ago when clearing out my mums house.)

I also got a load of other Dev stuff collected throughout the years from the fan club and a bunch of stuff i got from the old record label in 1999 after doing the superfan thingy.

That's about it really so far and i ain't gonna stop collecting until Dev stops, which from a selfish point of view i hope is no time soon.....However i feel lucky the Dev decided to make a comeback after he kina retired after Ziltoid.

I'm now just waiting for the next 3 albums and hoping that the tour will come over to London, if not, there may have to be a trip to somewhere far away to watch him play live again! I have always wanted to go to Canada anyway so the 2 may need to be combined!!!

Cheerio folks

I wonder if I am the only Devy fan who has never really been pleased by the looks of any of the shirts? The best looking shirt is probably the new Ki one with the chrome DTP logo. But I would switch the images around. I think the colourful back image of Devy and his guitar should be on the front. Damn. I would probably buy a Ocean Machine shirt but I am still a little iffy.

No, you're not. There have only been a few Dev shirts that I actually like, so I haven't bought too many of them over the years. That said, what I'd really like is a Devin Townsend zip-up hoodie--much more practical than the other style.

When I saw SYL in 2006 in Vancouver they were selling these zip-up hoodies that had SYL on the front. I damn near bought one but didn't. I am still kicking myself for not doing it.

The SYL zip-ups were nice. Decent quality too. Mine is near death. Mind you, I wore it *everywhere* 3 seasons a year for 4years. Well, eveywhere not Dev-related. That and Zimmer's merch were generally only seen on crew members out this way. While it's nice talking Dev with someone... it's not so nice being pinned in a corner and yelled to ats ucharap idpaceitsoundslikeonecontinuoushummmmmmmmmmm then getting the stink eye when the tour manager walks by and a quicky comparison reveals my lack of laminate.

The Ki spoiler thread got me thinking about people not buying Dev's shit, and it annoyed the hell out of me because if anyone deserves to get compensated for their music it's Dev. So here's a way to both show Dev we appreciate his music and support him and show others your kickass Devy collections!

Bigger version here for you weirdos who want more detail: http://home.exetel.com.au/strappingyounglad/devmerch.jpg

Reasons for doubling up before anyone asked - I bought Terria twice to get the bonus tracks. Same deal with Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing. There's two copies of Alien because I had one pre-ordered and then somehow won a competition and got the CD again as well as a wallet (not pictured, remembered about it after I'd already cleaned up the loungeroom floor!) and poster. Although I did buy both copies of the Alien vinyl, and I've never listened to them because I'm too lazy to get my record player fixed, but I will one day. Oh and the two Ziltoid shirts because I didn't realise how goddam big the large was going to be. Speaking of too large - can you get the dress shirts anywhere anymore? I wear a medium and for some reason bought SYL+Infinity dress shirts that could fit Gene, I must have been drunk when I made that order.

So have at it, I'm sure there's others out there with bigger more awesome collections! 8)

Were did you get the "Ocean Machine" shirt? Me want.

Small, but I plan on getting all of the DTP albums as they come out, then ordering most, if not all of the back catalog when I have the cash.

I have never noticed the blue stuff in the spine of City before. :\

My collection is bigger now. I might update the picture once I get all the vinyl.
