DTP Taping Policy

I know that in the past Devin and his bands have been anywhere from cool to completely kick ass about audience taping (I have a show where Gene was kind enough to give an audience member soundboard access!!) so I just wanted to verify this before suggesting a friend that he tried to tape a show for me.
So how does the Devin Townsend Project feel about their audience recording audio and video and the free sharing of said recordings online?
